- Our partnership with Almond Board of California began in 2004. Since that time the shipments of California Almond to the Russian market have grown from 6447 MT per year in the season 2003-2004 to 15 230 MT in the season 2010-2011, resulting in 136% of the overall market increase. The range of almond products manufactured by the local food industry players considerably extended. California Almonds have gained strong positions in the Russian market.
- During the 6 years of our cooperation with Washington Apple Commission the market size for Washington Apples has increased by 40%. 8 new varieties of Washington Apples were introduced in the market of Western Russia and gained sincere sympathies of the local consumers. Washington Apples made their way to the majority of national Russian retail chains. The brand awareness among target consumers (women from Moscow and St. Petersburg that are 25-45 years old and have monthly income above $ 1,000 per person in their families) increased from 2% (year 2006) to 54% (year 2011)!
- In 2009 California Prune Board became our client. Over three years of our joint efforts shipments of California prunes to Russia more than tripled. Only in the season 2010-2011 Russian imports of California prunes has increased by 49%.
- At the end of 2007 we started to work on the projects for USA Dry Pea & Lentil Council in Russia. One of the results of the Russian market development program for USA Dry Peas and Lentils is the fact that some Russian canning plants started using American dried peas in their production. New varieties of American lentils were introduced to the Russian market. The total volume of American peas and lentils imported in Russia grew by 20% in the first year of our cooperation and by 40% during the next year. The popularity of USA Dry Peas and Lentils among Russian trading companies and consumers is constantly growing.
